Charlotte teen, 15, dies in crash while driving stolen car, CMPD says

A 15-year-old died in a crash this weekend while driving a car reported stolen two days earlier, according to police. Paramedics found the teen dead at the scene Sunday morning just after midnight along South Tryon Street near Lake Wylie Elementary School and the South Carolina border, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department news release.
