South Dakota Gov. Signs Trans Youth Health Care Ban, Tennessee Advances It's Own

South Dakota has passed a ban on gender-affirming healthcare for youth into law, becoming the fourth U.S. state to do so, and the second state this year. The same day, Tennessee’s legislature passed a similar anti-trans healthcare bill. As expected, Republican Governor Kristi Noem signed HB 1080 into law on Monday.
