Michigan's youth turnout in the 2022 midterms was 'best in nation'

Young people in Michigan turned out to vote last November at a higher rate than any other state, according to the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement at Tufts University. Voters aged 18 to 29 turned out at a rate of 36.5%, which was higher than any other state analyzed, according to the new data released by the center at the university's Tisch College of Civic Life.
