Severe weather threat prompts McConnell Air Force Base to relocate aircraft

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - McConnell Air Force Base relocated its aircraft Saturday morning, away from severe weather forecasted for the Wichita area. Storm Team 12 says a powerful weather maker moving across Kansas will set the stage for strong to severe storms this evening and into Sunday morning, including high winds with the potential for large hail and tornadoes.
