Cognitive capacity defined by ability, not age
Dear Carol: You’ve addressed this before, but I need help. I’m 73 and feel like I’m continually under scrutiny as my adult children watch for signs that I’m incompetent. I understand that age increases our risk of cognitive decline, but my goodness, I am computer literate and help others through a charitable organization. I do my own taxes, handle my investments, read voraciously, and to the best of my knowledge, easily converse with others.
