Previewing the 6A/5A state track meet and boys state tennis

Booker T. Washington’s Sam Freeman will head to this week’s Class 5A state track meet with two regional titles under his belt. Freeman won both the 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter runs at last week’s regional at Holland Hall. Same goes for Broken Arrow’s Eli Hopkins who won the same events in the 6A field. The 6A and 5A state track and field meets are scheduled Friday and Saturday at Western Heights High School in Oklahoma City.
