Some Flint-area schools decide to close Friday, March 22 in anticipation of snowstorm

A snowstorm expected across the state of Michigan on Friday is causing some area school districts to close on March 23. A winter weather advisory is in effect from 6 a.m. to midnight Friday night in Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland and Macomb counties, according to the National Weather Service.
