ILLINOIS — Travel may be tricky Thursday night and Friday morning, especially in the northern suburbs, due to snow and rain. The National Weather Service said the wet snow could result in "significant" travel impacts near and north of the Wisconsin state line. There is a 40 percent chance of snow, mainly after 1 a.m., Thursday night going into Friday. Wind gusts could reach as high as 15 mph. Skies will be mostly cloudy throughout the next few days.
