Superior, Boulder County file lawsuit against Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport over noise

Superior and the Boulder County commissioners have filed a lawsuit against the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport over noise caused by touch-and-go flight operations. The complaint, filed Tuesday in the Boulder County District Court, requests that Jefferson County, owners of Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport, “abate the public nuisance caused by piston-engine aircraft performing ‘touch-and-go’ operations.” Jefferson County did not immediately respond to request for comment.
