Pedestrian killed in Waterbury hit-and-run crash, police say

WATERBURY — A 34-year-old man was killed after he was struck by a car in a hit-and-run crash on Willow Street Saturday night, according to police. Waterbury Police Lt. Ryan Bessette said officers responded to the 200 block of Willow Street around 9:50 p.m. on report of a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian. Bessette said first responding police officers found an adult man, later identified as 34-year-old Waterbury resident Christopher Coleman, lying in the street with life-threatening injuries.
