Lawmakers review recommendations for containing state employee healthcare costs

Balancing rising healthcare costs, with the promises made to retired state workers... Delaware lawmakers are now considering the findings of the Retiree Healthcare Benefits Advisory Subcommittee, which was formed after the state decided to switch to a less-popular Medicare Advantage Plan. That switch led to protests and a court case at the time. As of now, Medicare Advantage will not be considered moving forward.
