Wintry mix of snow, sleet and rain, with threat of flooding in New York City

STATE ISLAND, N.Y. — Staten Islanders are waking to a wintry combination of rain, sleet and a dusting of snow for the Tuesday morning rush hour.
An intense, but fast-moving storm is battering our borough and the rest of New York City this morning into the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service and AccuWeather.com.
At least parents will not have to worry about taking their children to public schools since remote learning will be in effect on Tuesday.
