Parts of New York’s Hudson Valley got up to 15 inches of snow from this weekend’s nor’easter, which was mostly a rainy dud in the five boroughs, extending New York City’s nearly 700-day snow drought. Plattekill, in Ulster County had recorded 14.6 inches of snow had fallen by 8 a.m. Sunday morning, and Norfolk, Connecticut had received 12 inches and Poughkeepsie saw 11.5 inches, according to the Fox Forecast Center.
