Enhanced risk for severe weather for Alabama on Friday

More severe storms are in the forecast for parts of Alabama starting late Friday night, and the risk for the northwest corner of the state has been elevated. Tornadoes, damaging winds and heavy rain will all be possible with the strongest storms. Severe weather will be possible not just over northwest Alabama but parts of north, central and west Alabama as well.
