Former NYPD Cop Caught on Video Viciously Attacking Police With a Flagpole

A man identified by federal prosecutors as a former officer with the New York Police Department attacked a Metropolitan Police Department officer with a metal flagpole during the January 6 Capitol riot, new body camera footage released by the Department of Justice shows.

Thomas Webster, a retired NYPD officer and Marine Corps veteran, is allegedly shown in the video screaming at MPD officers outside of the Capitol on January 6. A brief nearly-minute long clip published by CNN, which obtained the video, shows Webster threatening MPD cops at police barricades.
