12 million more gallons of drinking water to be available for Washington County

People in Washington County will soon have 12 million more gallons of clean, drinkable water available to them every day. This is thanks to the installment of new piping and filter systems at the Quail Creek Water Treatment Plant off 472 N. 5300 W. in Hurricane.

This change is expected to set the stage for a more efficient water cleaning system for the entire county as well as increase the amount of water that can be stored for everyone to use. This project was brought about by the fast growing...
