Forty-three days after Election Day, the 2014 midterms are finally over.
Republican Martha McSally on Wednesday won the last unresolved House race of the cycle in Arizona’s second district following a lengthy recount. Her victory means that Republicans will have 247 seats in the House next year—the largest majority either party has held since the 71st Congress adjourned in 1931.
