New Polls Show Trump Closing the Gap on Biden

A CNN poll published Sunday evening shows President Trump closing the gap on presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden among registered voters. According to the latest CNN poll released Sunday night, 50 percent of registered voters say they will cast their ballot for Biden, compared to 46 percent who plan to support the president. The 4 point margin is down dramatically from the 14 point cushion Biden enjoyed in the last CNN poll, which was released back in early June. At the same time, an ABC News/Washington Post poll released Monday morning reports that more than half of registered voters, 53 percent, prefer Biden, while 41 percent favor Trump.
