Hawaii island psychologist sentenced for assaulting teen patient

A 72-year-old Kailua-Kona clinical psychologist on Friday was sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexually assaulting a teenage boy in 2019. Reuben Lelah, who was initially indicted June 27 on two counts of first-degree sexual assault and two counts of third-degree sexual assault, pleaded guilty March 15 to two counts of second-­degree sexual assault.
