NY weather: Thunderstorms with penny-sized hail and damaging winds in Chautauqua County Saturday

A severe thunderstorm warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 1:21 p.m. valid until 2 p.m. for Chautauqua County. Wind gusts of up to 60 mph and penny-sized hail (0.75 inches) are expected. "At 1:21 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Lottsville, or 13 miles southwest of Jamestown, moving northeast at 25 mph," states the weather service.
