Tornado sirens sound in metro area

FARGO — Tornado sirens activated in the Fargo-Moorhead area shortly before 3 p.m. Friday as the National Weather Service issued a statement informing residents that weak funnel clouds were possible. According to the National Weather Service, the statement was issued for the counties of Cass, Barnes, Ransom, Sargent and Richland in North Dakota and Clay, Becker, Wilkin, Otter Tail and Grant in Minnesota.
