National Weather Service confirms EF-1 tornado in Sevier County

SEVIER COUNTY, Ark. – Officials with National Weather Service Shreveport confirmed Friday that an EF-1 tornado touched down in Sevier County.
NWS officials said that tornado damage was found between DeQueen and Lockesburg after severe storms Friday morning.
Weather officials have not released any additional information on damages at this time.
This marks the 17th tornado in Arkansas so far in 2024, officials said.
