Texas Governor Greg Abbott has vowed to continue placing controversial buoys in the Rio Grande river after the Supreme Court blocked a new state law targeting suspected illegal migrants from taking effect on Monday.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Abbott said: "We continue building the wall, use NG [National Guard] to erect razor wire barriers to repel migrants & buoys remain in river."
