South Dakota State women's basketball cruises to Summit League semifinals with win over Omaha

The South Dakota State women's basketball team inched closer to a Summit League Tournament title on Saturday with a 66-53 win over Omaha in Sioux Falls. After a back-and-forth opening half, the Jackrabbits asserted their dominance in the second half, outscoring Omaha 40-24 over the final 20 minutes. Paige Meyer led the way with 24 points on the day and added five boards. Madison Mathiowetz chipped in 10 points while Mesa Byom posted a team-high 12 boards.
