Dane County Judge Issues Final Ruling on Wisconsin’s 1849 “Abortion Ban”

Yesterday, Judge Diane Schlipper issued her final ruling on Wisconsin’s infamous 1849 feticide law, deciding that it does not apply to consensual abortions. This afternoon, WORT News Producer Faye Parks spoke to Michelle Velasquez – Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin’s Chief Strategy Officer – and Dr. Kristin Lyerly – one of the medical providers who joined the lawsuit.
