The Federal Trade Commission is suing Amazon.com, accusing the online retail giant in a landmark lawsuit of anti-competitive business practices implemented to illegally retain “monopolistic control.” Attorneys general from 17 different states joined the FTC in filing the lawsuit on Tuesday in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
