Hiker dies in fall from scenic overlook in North Carolina

A hiker died over the weekend in a fall at a scenic overlook in North Carolina. The National Parks Service said rescue crew were dispatched Saturday afternoon around 12:15 p.m. to the Glassmine Falls Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway, about 25 miles northeast of Asheville.
