McCarthy threatens to open impeachment inquiry into AG Merrick Garland

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said Saturday that an impeachment inquiry into Attorney General Merrick Garland's weaponization of the Department of Justice to favor Hunter Biden may soon materialize. "We need to get to the facts, and that includes reconciling these clear disparities. U.S. Attorney David Weiss must provide answers to the House Judiciary Committee," McCarthy tweeted Sunday.
