Followers of this newspaper recognize that two concepts define an approach we call “community journalism.”
The first is the notion of community. Here is what we mean we mean by that: A network of people with a common agenda who collaborate by sharing ideas, information and resources for the common good. Geography is only part of the equation.
The second is a notion about journalism that we call “storytelling with a purpose.” Here our purpose is to provide citizens with the information they need to make the best possible decisions...
