From Kalamazoo to South Haven, see when 6 local farmers markets will open

KALAMAZOO, MI — A testament to warmer weather, farmers markets across the region are preparing to open for the season. The Kalamazoo Farmers Market will kick off on Saturday, May 4, opening to the masses at 7 a.m. The market, which boasts over 200 vendors this year, will be held every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Oct. 26 at 1204 Bank St. in the Edison neighborhood.
