Poll commissioned by candidate for Congress Janelle Bynum shows her, her opponent tied in Democratic primary

State Rep. Janelle Bynum and engineer and attorney Jamie McLeod-Skinner are statistically tied in the Democratic primary race for Oregon’s 5th Congressional District, according to a new poll paid for by Bynum’s campaign.
About 37% of respondents said they would vote for or lean toward voting for Bynum, while 34% said they would vote for or lean toward McLeod-Skinner, according to the poll of about 400 Democrats in the 5th District.
