Easter Earthquake Shakes Near Lake Henshaw In San Diego County

The 3.5 magnitude earthquake was reported at 4:12 p.m. almost 4 miles north of Lake Henshaw, a reservoir at the southeast base of Palomar Mountain, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake was about 8 miles deep.
Residents reported feeling the quake across the county, including in El Cajon, Escondido, Poway, Ramona, San Diego and Vista, according to the USGS's "Did You Feel It?" map.
