Rain and possible thunderstorms disrupt your Friday fun

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The big rain event will take center stage Friday. You can expect to wake up to rain and go to bed with rain. All in all, Portland could collect just under a half inch of rain in a 24-hour period. A few stronger showers could bring lightning, thunder and small hail to the southern Willamette Valley Friday afternoon and evening. No severe weather is expected.
