House votes to unwind ITD campus sale by one vote

The Idaho Transportation Department budget, including a provision aiming to end the sale of the agency’s State Street campus, passed the Idaho House of Representatives by the slimmest of margins. On Wednesday, legislators voted 35-34 with one absence to pass the agency’s budget after a lengthy debate over whether or not it was smart to walk back the state’s long-planned sale of the 44-acre campus.
