CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig called multiple charges being thrown out in Donald Trump’s Georgia election racketeering case “embarrassing” for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. On Wednesday, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee tossed six counts against Trump and several of his co-defendants from Willis’ election interference indictment. Trump and 18 co-defendants pleaded not guilty last year to charges of trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia.
