WAYNE, NJ — The polls have closed in Wayne, and a handful of other New Jersey districts who had school funding proposals on the ballot Tuesday. The Wayne Township Public School District asked residents' approval to issue $169.8 million in bonds, which would be paid back through property taxes. The money would fund dozens of projects at the district's 15 school buildings.
