Iberville Sheriff Brett Stassi joins Governor Jeff Landry for signing of anti-crime legislation

Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi and sheriffs from four other parishes gathered in New Orleans with Gov. Jeff Landry, who signed eight bills aimed at bringing change to the state’s criminal justice system. The bills Gov. Landry signed at the Port of New Orleans had passed the House and Senate during his special session on crime that concluded Feb. 29.
