Real estate company has big plans for site of former Walmart in Downtown Honolulu

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Avalon Group is taking over the old Walmart space in Downtown Honolulu. The Honolulu company, led by Christine Camp, bought the nearly 100,000 square foot retail space on South King Street for $38.25 million. Avalon Group is already building HPU’s Natural and Computational Sciences center next door.
