In the Town of Hempstead, Don Clavin is up for reelection as supervisor. He is opposed by Olena Nicks, who has served several roles in Uniondale including being named the first female captain of the Uniondale Fire Department's Manor Company 3.
Former Hempstead Supervisor Kate Murray is seeking another term as town clerk.
