Canadian solar cell company announces new plant in Indiana
An $800 million solar cell production plant is coming to southeast Indiana. Canadian Solar, a Canada-based manufacturer with about two dozen facilities around the world, chose Jeffersonville for its second solar module production facility in the United States, Gov. Eric Holcomb announced Monday, bringing approximately 1,200 new jobs to the area.
