Air Quality Alert Issued for Friday, Saturday Across Minnesota

(KNSI) – Canadian wildfires are again prompting an alert about the air quality in virtually all of Minnesota, including the St. Cloud area. The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is raising its color alert to orange or unhealthy for sensitive groups from 8:00 a.m. Friday through 3:00 p.m. Saturday. The air could cause issues for people with lung disease, asthma, heart disease, children, and older adults. Area residents should close windows to keep smoke from getting indoors.
