More than one-third of Canadian federal employees went on strike as the nation’s public sector union failed to reach an agreement with government officials on wage increases. Some 155,000 members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada started to strike across the country on Wednesday, inducing fears of disrupted government services such as passports and tax services.
