The Manhattan district attorney seems close to deciding whether to charge former president Donald Trump in the paying of $130,000 to silence an adult film actress, potentially marking the first time in U.S. history a former president has been indicted.
Claiming his arrest is imminent, Trump has sought to rally his base around him, urging supporters in a post on his Truth Social platform to “protest, take our nation back!”
