House OKs measure subsidizing semiconductor chip production, sending bill to Biden

The House on Thursday approved legislation that would provide billions of dollars in subsidies for the domestic production of semiconductor chips, sending to President Biden's desk a measure the administration says is crucial to the U.S. economy and national security.
