FREMONT, CA — Business owners, schools, institutions and nonprofits in Fremont and throughout Alameda County are encouraged to apply for grants that will help prevent food waste. Each business or nonprofit is eligible for up to $30,000. With $1.1 million available, there's a good chance that applicants will be chosen.
