Biden's infrastructure plan would create 2.7 million jobs — not 19 million, White House says
President Joe Biden's $2.25 trillion infrastructure package would create about 2.7 million jobs, a fraction of the more than 19 million touted by some West Wing officials — including the chief executive himself.
Asked about that discrepancy, White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Tuesday cited a report by Moody's Analytics, a Wall Street firm, that estimated that Biden's American Jobs Plan would create 3 million jobs over a decade if passed as is by both chambers of Congress and signed into law.
