Sound Transit to introduce fare inspection process using ambassadors on June 3

A new fare inspection process is coming to Sound Transit starting June 3. Fare Ambassadors will be checking passengers for proof of payment at Link stations as part of the first phase of the rollout. During the first phase, fare-paid zone inspections will occur only on the 1 Line, at downtown Seattle stations at different times, and will be expanded in later phases, according to Sound Transit.
