Walmart’s decision to close one of its East Bay outlets will lead to the loss of 169 jobs, according to regulatory filings submitted to state and local authorities. The retail giant, which operates approximately 4,600 stores nationwide, announced last week that it plans to shutter its location at 40580 Albrae St. in Fremont on May 24 due to the store’s underperformance.
