Marble-sized hail expected with thunderstorms to hit Berkshire County Monday

The National Weather Service issued a report at 11:15 p.m. on Monday for strong thunderstorms until Tuesday at 12:15 a.m. for Berkshire County. The storms may bring marble-sized hail (0.5 inches) and wind gusts of up to 40 mph. "At 11:14 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles north of Stratford to near Pownal. Movement was east at 15 mph," says the weather service.
