Whitehall, Heidelberg voters consider open space taxes
Whitehall and Heidelberg township residents look to be on track to pay more in taxes next year, after voting for separate open space tax referendums during Tuesday’s primary. Whitehall’s tax proposal, which is the first of its kind in that township, would add .05 mills of real estate tax for farmland preservation and maintenance of recreational and open space.
